Yes, translations are very easy.
The only difficult process is "internationalization", i.e. when people hard-code text in their local language directly in the code, and then you need to extract it and place in language files. But if the module developer makes a module with all the text in language files, the translation is piece of cake

And i am new to the modules translation.So at first i would translate some modules developed by tad from traditional Chinese to simplified Chinese. Excellent! This will be a very good start! You do something, and then hopefully others will join. As a first step, can you make a list of the modules with version number, which are currently available in Chinese? Then we can look which ones are missing, but are good modules. Thanks for helping!

I'm still not sure about the logo? You wanted a new one because you don't like the current one? Do you have a specific logo in mind?

For us is the documentation/tutorials and updated modules, but it could be different in China. What about translating some of the most popular XOOPS modules into Chinese?

* stop silence, tell us what's going on. Offical news, twitter, forum post... any way is ok. In a natural way, www.xoops.org is the most active XOOPS site, and we have tons of discussions going on. You can also see our monthly WOX Newsletter with the latest news from the project. My understanding is that there are also discussions on QQ.com forums. Most important, once X3 gets into Beta cycle, there will be more news about it. In the meantime, everybody can check out X3 Alpha from the SVN and provide feedback. I totally understand your frustration, but please see the bigger picture and if you review the accomplishments of 2010, you'll see that we didn't sleep the whole year, but were working hard and have accomplished a lot! And for 2011 we plan even more! But please get engaged - write documentation, help with modules (like the spotlight), join theme design teams, etc. We all can make a difference!

So we're getting better and better, and with help from people like you, 2011 will the best year ever for XOOPS. But we need to work together as a worldwide community!
