Shell - 用户和计算机操作系统之间的软件界面。Shell负责解释用户输入的命令，并将它们传递给操作系统。DOS外壳是COMMAND.COM和DOS外壳；一些UNIX外壳有Bourne外壳（sh）、C外壳（csh）和Korn外壳（ksh）。
