Frameworks 提供了公用的方法、类、服务包（fpdf，transfer），这些是很有用的，一些模块需要它来支持。

该软件包是专门用于XOOPS 2.3 + ，其中包括： fpdf ， geshi ，pear，transfer。一些基本的软件包已经在XOOPS 2.3 +核心中发布，art， compat 。

2. 配置优化
2.1 ./fpdf/language/: 基于 english.php 制作本地化语言包, 可以参考 schinese.php , 或者查看 english.php 中的注释（中文用户跳过此步）。
2.2 ./transfer/（工具箱）:
2.2.1 ./transfer/language/: 基于 english.php 制作本地化语言包（中文用户跳过此步）。
2.2.2 ./transfer/modules/: 如果你是开发者, 可以为你的模块添加工具箱的句柄（handler）, 或者放置接口文件在你的模块中，如: XOOPS/modules/mymodule/include/plugin.transfer.php。

2.2.4 ./transfer/plugin/myplugin/config: 插件设置

《open source in china》是The Apache Software Foundation所写的一份报告，其中把Xoops China作为典型案例分析。

Frameworks 提供了XOOPS模块所需要的一些基本类库和组件。
该版本主要根据XOOPS 2.0.17做了调整，并改进了PDF组件的功能，对PDF maker采用缓存。

FCKeditor是目前最好的WYSIWYG(所见即所得)编辑器之一，D.J.已经完美地把它整合入XOOPS的编辑器合集xoopseditor 1.10中。现在提供的这个FCKeditor 2.4.3 for xoopseditor 1.10 升级包，则把xoopseditor 1.10中的FCKeditor从2.3.1到最新版本2.4.3，并做了众多改进：
1、升级到最新的FCKeditor 2.4.3,因此对应的改进可参考FCKeditor的最近更新
2、文件重命名：再也不必为要上传的文件是否为中文名称而烦恼了，系统会根据你的设置自动重命名：以“当前时间（年月日时分秒）”或/和uid或/和unix时间等重命名文件。
3、快速上传时自动创建文件夹：再也不必为上传目录下的文件太多而烦恼了，系统会自动创建文件夹以便归档，归档规则可以按月份或按年设置。
4、通过FCKeditor/fckconfig-xoops.js可方便的定制FCKeditor的工具栏。

MediaWiki是维基百科（Wikipedia）使用的协作编辑软件，是当前最流行的Wiki引擎。虽然该软件具有中文版，但中文版没有完全汉化，且其汉化文件很久没有更新了，这里给出的是本站制作的最新版本的完整的汉化包。

此次汉化的MediaWiki版本是1.7.1，并对1.6.7汉化包中出现的诸多错误进行了修正。但在汉化完成后发现1.7.1版本必须要求 PHP5，即对 PHP4 已经不再支持，考虑到国内多数虚拟主机的PHP版本还是4.*，而和1.7.1版本同步发布的1.6.8版本仍支持PPH4，因此又对汉化文件进行了修改，使之可适应1.6.8版本。但对1.7.1本版多出的一些消息语句并没有删除，因此该文件实际上可同时应用于这两个版本，多出的消息文本不会对系统运行产生不良影响。

汉化中参考了中文维基百科的内容，并对其中一些说法进行了修改，主要修改如下：

1. 由于中文维基百科百科中“条目”和“页面”两个词的含义几乎相同，为了避免混淆，此处将所有的“条目”替换为页面。

2. 把文件中所有的Project名字空间改变成Help名字空间了。因为这两个名字空间很相近，写帮助文件时很容易混淆，对于规模不是很大的网站，不如把它们合在一起方便，这对网站运行没有任何影响的。
