1. 把 htdocs/ 上传到服务器
2. 确认 mainfile.php 和 uploads/ 可写
3. 为安全考虑, 最好把 xoops_lib (for XOOPS libraries) 和 xoops_data (for XOOPS data) 移出文件根目录，或者最好改动文件夹名称
4. 保证xoops_data/ 文件夹可写; 建立以下文件夹（要可写）： xoops_data/caches/, xoops_data/caches/xoops_cache/, xoops_data/caches/smarty_cache/ and xoops_data/caches/smarty_compile/
5. 用浏览器打开 htdocs/ 文件夹来进行安装


在 XOOPS 中安装XOOPS安全卫士（Protector）
-----------------------------------
我们仍旧高度推荐使用Protector模块，它将为XOOPS系统提供额外的安全保护和日志记录能力.

全新安装时有一种新的安装向导来安装protector模块, 在安装之前，用 /extras/mainfile.dist.php.protector文件覆盖 /htdocs/mainfile.dist.php文件.

XOOPS 2.3.1以前版本通过更新安装protector模块, 在执行更新之前，用 /extras/mainfile.dist.php.protector文件覆盖 /upgrade/upd-2.0.18-to-2.3.0/mainfile.dist.php文件.
注意：别忘了删除.protector扩展名.


从旧版本更新
-----------------------------------
从 XOOPS 2.3.1 或 XOOPS 2.3.2 升级
1. 下载升级包
2. 使用升级包内文件覆盖旧版文件
3. 把"upgrade" 文件夹复制到 "htdocs" 文件夹内
4. 通过浏览器打开<your.site.url>/upgrade/
5. 使用升级向导更新数据库
6. 把更新文件包(upgrade)从服务器删除 （别忘了）
7. 从模块管理界面更新"系统管理"模块,以及其它模块,特别是"用户管理(profile)"模块.

从 XOOPS 2.0.14 以上 和 2.2.*升级 (用完整安装包)
1. 把完整安装包下载到您的本地计算机，解压后把"upgrade" 文件夹复制到 "htdocs" 文件夹内（为了方便全新安装者，这个文件夹在下载的时候放在htdocs外面了)
2. 删除您的计算机上新下载的 "htdocs" 文件夹内的 htdocs/mainfile.php, htdocs/install/, htdocs/cache/, htdocs/extras/, htdocs/template_c/, htdocs/themes/ 和 htdocs/uploads/
3. 把在本地计算机修改好的htdocs文件夹 上传到您的服务器覆盖原来的文件
4. 出于安全考虑, 请把 xoops_lib (for XOOPS libraries)和 xoops_data (for XOOPS data) 移出文件根目录,最好改名 .

4. 删除一下文件和文件夹(这些是属于旧版本的):

升级非UTF-8编码的网站:
XOOPS2.3采用UTF-8编码为默认编码.但是,在转换已有的网站从非UTF-8到UTF-8编码会带来一些麻烦.
在这之前有一个很好的解决方案来进行转换,如果你不是一个很有经验的用户,那就跟着下面的方法转换已有的网站:
- 升级的过程中,在数据库字符集和校验的选项中选择"Do not change"
- 修改 /languages/yourlanguage/global.php _CHARSET的值改为UTF-8,如:


升级编辑器(XoopsEditor)包:
在XOOPS安装包,包含了五种编辑器:可扩展DHTML编辑器(dhtmltextarea),纯文本编辑器(textarea),fckeditor所见即所得HTML编辑器,tinemce所见即所得HTML编辑器,以及koivi所见即所得HTML编辑器.
由于fckeditor 和 tinymce 编辑器目录结构有写变化,建议在上传新的编辑器之前,先删除已有的编辑器.
如果某些模块使用的是fckeditor编辑器,请根据/fckeditor/modules/下的文件,修改模块的相关配置 ,特别是"文章管理(article)"模块.


除错信息分级显示

自从XOOPS2.3.1开始启用除错信息分级显示的临时解决方案,可以根据不同的用户等级来显示如:全部用户,会员,管理员.
可以在/xoops_data/configs/xoopsconfig.php 文件中设置.
在XOOPS3.0中会有全新的除错信息显示方案


文件完整性检查
-----------------------------------
完整的安装包里带有一个脚本，可是使用它来检查是否所有的系统文件被正确地上载到了服务器上，请按照下述提示使用该脚本：

1. 将XOOPS安装包root目录下的checksumphp和checksum.md5上传到服务器上，与mainfile.php位于同一路径下
2. 从浏览器访问checksum.php
3. 如果有缺失文件，请按提示重新上传
4. 将checksum.php 和 checksum.md5 文件从服务器移除


模块（modules）

本安装包里没有包含除system以外的其他模块，你需要到XOOPS模块仓库里去挑选你所需要的和感兴趣的，需要注意的是：我们正在建立新的模块仓库，所以现有的模块仓库不一定包含了最新的信息.请随时关注开发人员的网站来确保你所使用的是最新版本的模块.
